Despite an down tick in unemployment to 9.1%, bad news still permeates the jobs landscape. International markets are shaky, growth is slowing in Europe, fears continue for a double dip recession and the Dow fell in recent trading after plummeting over 512 on Thursday. Job seekers are frightened. Fortunately, hope is available from SEO (Search Engine Optimization)!
Over the last two years I have researched applying SEO to job-hunting in hopes of uncovering a differential advantage for my candidates. In the process I have built up the largest SEO group in the Chicago area with over 530 members. (Please go to http://www.meetup.com/chicago-seo/ to learn more).
To spotlight my findings, I have arranged two experts for a special symposium on Saturday, August 20th starting at 10 a.m. at TechNexus at 200 S. Wacker including:
1. Nicole Bodem, Director of Search Marketing at Bernard Hodes. Please go to http://www.hrsearchmarketing.com/ learn more about Nicole.
2. Gordon Dymowski. Please go to http://www.gordondymowski.com/ to learn more about Mr. Dymowski.
