Labor Day Offers A Time To Plan For Future Staffing

What does Labor Day mean to your company? Besides being a national holiday, originally spurned on by labor unions and employment groups, it has traditionally been a great time to reflect upon your current employment situation and develop staffing plans for the future.

Unfortunately, the economic downturn has poised additional risks for your organization. For example, it is difficult to plan employment efforts with so much uncertainty. However, one recommendation is to constantly recruit. This does not necessarily mean to add staff now. Instead, you should continue to build up your employment database with potential jobs recruits. Then when a staffing need arises, you will be ready to go! With three months left in the year, this is as good a time as any to plan for your future jobs growth.
