Most services rely on DOC (Department of Corrections) database searches. They do not physically check every candidate's record in every county where they have lived. These databases are rarely updated, riddled with errors and uncover only 10% of convicted felons serving hard time. They often miss the majority of convicted felons who have been given lighter sentences due to overcrowded jails.

Scott R. Sargis, a world renowned executive recruiter, has over 25 years experience in R&D, scientific, engineering and technical executive search.

He founded Strategic Search Corporation in 1989 after a five-year stint with a large Midwest executive search firm.

Mr. Sargis has written extensively on jobs, careers and labor issues for such publications as The Chicago Tribune, EE Times and Staffing Industry Review.

Born and raised in Chicago, Scott Sargis received a BA from DePaul University and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
